Following the needs of our clients, EC Bank has implemented the new service of E-commerce (paying over the internet) and it is the first bank in the Republic of Macedonia that offers this kind of service for owners of VISA cards.

What does E-commerce means?
E-commerce is buying and selling of goods and services over the internet. E-commerce is widely used in Europe and beyond for buying and selling goods and services over the internet. EC Bank has implemented this service through the new security system developed by VISA International-Verified by VISA ( VbV ). 

How does VbV works?
Verified by VISA system is a global program designed to make online shopping safe and secure for buyers and merchants. Verified by VISA increases buyers confidence in on-line buying, encouraged by the fact that VISA, the banks and the merchants are working together to provide secure on-line shopping.

• On-line shopping provides time and money utility, because all the payments that you had to do personally in certain points of sale now can be made from your home or any place with internet access with your VISA debit or credit card.
• Buying over the internet provides large selection of goods and services and a possibility to compare prices of the same or different goods offered by different merchants.
• Goods that you order from a web store can be delivered to your home, work place or anywhere where you prefer, on your demand.
• All on-line stores enable registration and creation of your own password, with which you can further safely use the services provided.

How does this service work?

• If you wish to buy a product, you can open the web shop of the merchant and browse through the catalog of products offered
• After you select the product you wish to buy, you choose the method of payment that is what card you will use to pay
• You choose VISA and after this you will be redirected to the web site of Casys( Cpay) where you will be asked to enter the data from your payment card ( number of the card, expiry date, cvv2) to make the transaction.
• After a few seconds you get return information for the approval of the transaction
• If it is approved, you will be provided with an authorization number of the transaction, a message that the transaction is successful and a time interval when the product will be delivered to your address.
• On the next working day, your card will be charged for the amount of the product you purchased
